About Me

Having grown up in Sydney, Rob moved to the Gold Coast in 1986. Rob has been involved in two professions during his working life. Firstly, Casino’s in which he held positions including Croupier, Floor Manager, Pit Boss, Casino Manager and Director of VIP Services, in both Australian Casino’s as well as abroad.

Upon returning to Australia, Rob’s real estate career took shape. Adopting the same philosophies in customer service he practiced whilst looking after some of the world’s biggest Casino players, Rob began to build Real Estate relationships with both buyers and sellers. This allowed him to capture a lot of repeat clients who he still deals with today.

“When I first began in real estate the savvy or those in the know would buy houses and apartments from me in need of renovation, then put their own finishing touches on them and then give them back to me to sell. I am pleased to say that the first 6 years, I made a profit every time in over 200 transactions for all of my clients”

Rob aims to support his clients in achieving their ultimate property goal, gaining the highest possible price for their real estate assets, while delivering empathetic and friendly service to ensure the whole experience is enjoyable and efficient.

As the market changed, Rob changed with it, joining Ray White. In 2007 he sold more residential properties than anyone else in the entire Ray White South East Queensland Group and was awarded the Number 1 sales performer based on settled numbers.
In 2010 with the real estate industry still reeling and suffering the effects of the GFC, sales slowed and many agents exited the industry. It was at this point that Rob resigned from the Ray White Group and founded City Group Realty. The rental market remained strong on the Gold Coast so this was his focus. Many families were unable to buy property due to the banks now tight lending criteria. Rob built a team of Property Managers and Business Development Agents to build and manage a rent roll. Fast track 5 years to 2015 and City Group Realty was sold in an off market negotiation.
Now, as Sales Manager for Accor Realty, Rob is focused on providing our owners with a personalised and tailored service with the aim of brokering the highest possible price for their property, should they ever wish to sell.
